Sailor Moon: New Anime in 2013 (now w/video)This is not a rumor!
It was officially announced that there will be a BRAND NEW Sailormoon Anime in Summer 2013!  The original Japanese VAs for Moon and Tuxy seem to be reprising their roles (based on the conversation in the event). We don't have much more detail, a letter from Naoko said she hopes we like the new series and she's happy to be making it. She said she's overwhelmed at the support the series still has and it makes her happy. She didn't think she could do something new but now she's happy she can bring them back!
They said the audience is intended to be the original fans of the show. It will be like a "powered up" of the original story, aimed at the good girls (and boys!) who grew up with the show. TOEI is doing it.
There was something in the announcement about it being released worldwide but we don't know the details. We do not know what this means as far as a possible English dub/sub. We don't yet know when/how this will reach a US market.

Queen City Kamikaze was AWESOME! :la:  I met so many nice people and had so much fun! :D  It was really a great day and I hope I can go back again next year.  :thanks:

I still have to post the other Ouran boys that I drew.  I will get them up soon, promise!

I did $5 colored chibi commission at the con and people really seemed to like them so I might start doing those more often at my table.

~Itsu-de-Mo was awesome enough to stake out the AnimeNEXT web site for me all day yesterday to get my app in for the alley there.  Unfortunately, I totally forgot about/missed out on PortConMaine's applications, DOH! I posted on the forum about possibly getting a space to share but those things are hard to pan out.  I can't believe I forgot about it again this year! ._.

Still waiting to hear from Animazement.  They did say that the apps would be open for a while and I guess we won't hear until the end of March (such a long time it feels like).  

And of course I've got a millions things to do!  But you know me, I love being BUSY! :crazy:

AnimeNext... have you been to it before? It it awesome and huge? I think I actually might try to get in there at some point, its a 7 hours drive for me, but thats not terrible I guess, it could be worse XD The thing is that Im graduating college in May, and hope to move right into a job so I don't want to the THAT person that is already asking for time off, and the date is so close to PortCon XD Im kind of thinking for 2012 maybe :) Though Im tempted to just apply for funsies even though Its a few days late...

I haven't been to it before but I have a friend who lives near there and she's talked me into it xD I am probably going to take the train down (or maybe fly if it's cheap enough).

You should! I kind of applied with the "if I get in, I get in and if I don't, I don't!" feeling.

Haha, I applied! But it was after it had been open for a few days, so I highly doubt I made it in. No idea how I would manage with PortCon just a few weeks after AnimeNext, but we'll see. If by some miracle I make it in then Ill start panicking XD Id probably drive, even though its like 7 hours according to Google Maps D:

Im not sure, where do you live? In in Auburn, Maine. That could work :) Although I like the idea of having a car so I don't have to worry about getting from point A to point B with all my stuff XD We'll see once they say who made it and whatnot :)
