As of this post, my plush adoptions open TONIGHT!
This journal has everything you need to know!
First of all, thank you so much to everyone who's been interested in my commissions! It's so exciting to have people who want to own things that you've created and I'm super grateful for the opportunity to make things for you! ^0^ That being said, I unfortunately do not have enough time to make something for everyone. ;( So here's the details about how sign ups are going to work this year if you are interested in getting onto my 2012 plush calendar. Please review this info and let me know if you have any questions!
TODAY July 1 at 8PM Eastern Time commissions will open. You can use this time zone converter to find out what time it will be where you are. Select U.S.A. - Massachusetts 8PM as the start time.
I am going to post an announcement, in the following order: I will post a new deviantART journal announcing commissions are open with a link, I will then link to the post from Facebook, and then finally make a post on Twitter.
There will be a BIG link in the announcement. This link will go to a web form. The web form will ask the following questions:
What is your name?
What is your email?
What is the name of the character plush you wish to adopt?
Is this a 7-8" plush or a 16-18" plush?
What is your DA name? (optional)
I have two available First Come, First Serve (FCFS) slots. This means that the first two people to complete this form and submit it will be first in line to get onto the calendar. After I have two people who have submitted, I will leave the form open for a few more minutes until there are another 2 or 3 people on the list. These additional people will serve as the waitlist.
The first two people who get the form submitted will have three (3) days to submit their non-refundable $20 deposit. If the deposit cannot be completed within 72 hours then I will move to the next person on the waitlist. If you plan to apply for an adoption please start planning now to have your deposit ready, you have two weeks notice to plan so it should be enough time. There are no exception for this deadline.
The first person to make their deposit will have their plush made in October 2012.
The second person to make their deposit will have their plush made in November 2012.
Final payment will be due on the first of the month to which you are assigned. As a reminder, 7-8" plushies start at $75UD and 16-18" plushies start at $150USD. Prices go up from there based on the details and design of the character. Please contact me in advance of opening to get specific quotes.
After the FCFS slots are booked and the deposits have been made, there will be one more available slot. This final slot will be an Auction Slot and the winner will have their plush made in August 2012.
The auction will work like this:
I am going to post a new journal just for the auction.
The ONLY reply to this journal will be a thread I start to begin bidding.
Bidding will begin at $100USD
The first person to reply to my comment will start the bidding.
All subsequent bids will have to be placed by replying to the highest bidder before you.
If your time stamp is the same as someone else's bid then the comment that appears first will be the highest bid and additional replies in that stack will be hidden (you can still bid against them in a reply)
Bids must be placed in a minimum of $5USD increments.
Bidding will be open for 3 days and will end at a predetermined time listed in the auction journal post.
"Sniper Bidding" will not be allowed, therefore any bids placed within the final 5 minutes of the auction will cause the auction to be EXTENDED for 15 minutes. This will continue until bids stop.
The highest and final bidder will get a plush of any character they want, limited only by my ability to create such a character (we'll work something out, I'm sure).
Please let me know if you have any questions about either the FCFS process or the auction.
Thank you all so much for reading!

Though I guess I'll ask in case I decide to commission in next year's schedule or something: How much would it be for a plush of Sayaka Miki? Would the price change depending on what outfit I wanted her in? (School uniform and Puella Magi uniform are the obvious ones, but there's also a casual outfit from the manga that's relatively simple, and I might be interested in getting that one since I managed to cook up a real-world counterpart for my wardrobe/cosplaying recently. XP)
