I like sharing.  I love teaching!  I really like learning, too. :la:

This journal is about all of those things!

What I want to know is: what do you want to know about my art?  Is there some question you really want to ask about my process, my style, my tools, my brain?  Please ask them!  I think that artists sharing information and sharing ideas is the best way for all of us to grow.  What can I teach you?  I don't have any art secrets so let's hear those questions!

I love to learn from you guys.  Many artists on DA have taught me a lot of awesome things, some directly and some just because I'm watching you. :eyes:  Some of you have given me helpful critique on my work or a quick tip on how to use a material more effectively.  Some of you provide gentle prodding to challenge myself a little more (and some of you hit me with lovesticks until I do it better).  I always want to be trying new things and getting into new art trouble.

"I am always doing things I can't do. That is how I get to do them." -Pablo Picasso

If you don't have something to ask about my art, is there something you can teach me?  It can be even the smallest thing!

Once you've replied if you want to keep learning and teaching, feel free to re-post this journal or one like it to see what you can teach your watchers and what they have to teach you.

When you work on Plushies what type of glue do you use for the smaller pieces (Like little accessories on boots and such) that are hard to sew on?

I will need to get some then. :D I am doing a rather intricate Plushie (Ezio in his Assassin Suit) for a friend’s birthday, which has a lot of smaller details that I don’t think will work to sew on. So thanks for the info, it should be a great help!

So I just found out about Prismacolor Scholar pencils! Apparently they are less expensive than Prismacolors and a little easier for people to work with who aren't used to the brand. I was thinking about buying a pack to do a review of them for people. I wonder if they'd be helpful to you! :D

Most of my coloring/shading has to do with the pencil I think. The softness of them allows me to press so hard. [link] is a post I made addressing some tips about shading. As for actually drawing, I do really recommend using a reference because it will teach you a lot, especially if you have someone to critique it for you. Learning to draw realistically from life models was unbelievably helpful in the long run for all of my art.
