Today is one year since I officially became a full time artist! HAPPY DAY! Lots of things to celebrate! HUGE SUCCESS!
AAC was this past weekend and it was my last convention of 2013. I did very well at the con and got to see lots of old friends and meet lots of new ones. 2013 was a crazy year with 10 conventions for me, but I learned A LOT and I am eager to get started on my plans for 2014. I will be definitely doing less cons next year. I feel like my commission work really fell behind because I spent pretty much April-Aug preparing for con after con. Next year I hope to have more of a balance!
My StoreEnvy has been updated! with all kinds of plush and bows left over from the cons! I have not yet sold anything through the site so if you decide to give it a go, please give me some feedback on the experience.
I'm excited to announce I've been accepted into Anime Boston's Art Alley Pro Row! This means that I will have a prime location and an 8' table in March. Super excited about this!! It's a big step for me and I appreciate the friends who encouraged me to dive in!
Right now I'm in the process of planning my 2014 calendar, but the cons I'm considering are: Queen City Kamikaze (confirmed), Anime Boston (confirmed), Anime Central, AnimeNEXT, PortConMaine, Another Anime Con, Otakon and Youmacon.
Now that I'm done with Japan and done with cons for the year, I am going to get back to the commission wait lists. I am hopeful to be open for plush commissions by the spring at the latest. Please be sure you are on my notification list if you want first dibs on spots when they become available! I hope to open drawing commissions before the end of November, I just have a few things with which I need to catch up.
That's all for now. Hopefully, I will be better with keeping up with messages, being a better watcher, and posting more art in the next few weeks. ^____^ Super looking forward to a few months with no cons!! WEE!!!

Hey DA, my old friend
Gunna start trying to be a little more active here on this account. Lately I've been more focused on various social media sites but eh - I really miss DeviantArt. I know it's not the same as it used to be, but it's still a really lovely place to host my artwork. It's absolutely perfect for what I do as @Adorkastock so I'd like to get back to sharing my art more often here, too. 🥰✨ Some stuff currently going on: The pins I made with AmunetGFX are now in a pre-order shop that will be open until we finish our BackerKit project surveys. This means you can preorder any of the pins from the project and they will ship after backer rewards are filled. I'm working on a TON of new hair bows for a December event in AdorkaBows Select Bow-Peeks on Facebook. That group has been the home for my bow sales for about 2 years. I am hopeful that community will be able to continue to support me but I may need to shift gears if FB keeps making it so hard for artists to reach people on their platform.
