Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Otakon is less than 50 days away. I know that might seem like a long time but I'm already in con-panic mode.  I bumped one of my May plush commissions into June ( thanks Kevin ;A; ) so now I've got three this month, o mai.  Fortunately Kevin's is mostly done and one of the others is a sailor senshi (PGSM Jupiter).  I can rock those out pretty quickly these days.  And I've also got two in July so somehow I have to manage all my con prep in between.  WEEEEEEEE!

I'm planning on making 50 emotatama (read: dango) for Otakon.  Most of them are going to be original design since the Clannad style ones are considered fanart and I'm trying to limit the amount of fanart I bring so that I can fit within Ota's restrictions (50% of your visual space has to be original work and there is a 200 fanart cap for the whole weekend). I will probably make a few of the Clannad style ones, a few Hetalia moshi (oh man, they are so cute!), and a few Kyubey heads, but I suspect those will go quickly.

The art alley for Another Anime Con opens this Monday, June 13th at 8PM. Just a heads up for people who are looking to get into that con; 3 or 4 days isn't a lot of warning! :P   I can't even realistically think that far ahead right now, but I am scheming on doing a panel there this fall.  Even thought the drawing from stock one was the most popular in my poll, I'm leaning towards the Art for Money: How do Take Commissions one since I think it will be a little easier logistically.  I want to get a few more panelists to help me out, too.

I've been on a bit of a Sailormoon spending spree post-Animazement (as you will see if you watch *SakkysSailormoonToys >_>) so that's been fun.

And I've started collecting Nanoha figures. <_<
