As part of my new year's resolution to draw backgrounds?

Most of the work was done in 2009 though. ;P

Been working on this since last summer. This is actually the third version of this particular image because I kept mucking up the line art. Thank goodness for light boxes! I am SO HAPPY that it's all done!

:boogie:

Prisamacolor colored pencils on Strathmore drawing paper. It's about 11.5" tall and 9" wide. I plan on selling limited edition prints as well as the original in a frame at conventions. Extra love to my husband, ~cairn4, for some advice on the letters :heart:

She looks amazing! The detailing on everything looks so good together, and the background is so beautiful! I love her pose as well, it's very Saturn like. :) And of course the lettering is a perfect way to put it all together. It looks really nice and is amazingly well done. :)
