I know how to add long hair, it's just the fact of making the braid that looks confusing ^^;

okay so at least you've got the start. xD So to make the braid do the long hair like you would normally, but cut the bottom out so it's like a really wide Y shape (with the cone of the Y filled in of course). You make the hair shape in the back taper down into a thinner, longer shape at the bottom about maybe 1.5" wide. Then you cut two slits up that long part and braid them. If this doesn't make sense I can draw a picture xD
